Russia Post issued a Souvenir Sheet on 29th July 2016 to celebrate the 2018 FIFA World Cup to be held at Russia.
The stamps’ specialty is that they bear images of genuinely issued stamps dedicated to FIFA World Cup™ tournaments of 1990 and 2014, as well as symbolic images of state signs of postal payment reflecting the topic of Russia participating in FIFA World Cup™ tournaments of 1994 and 2002. This original artistic solution was proposed to preserve the unifying concept of the issue.

A special cover on State Bank of Mysore was released on 16th December 2016 at Bengaluru Head Office to commemorate Bank's 103 years of glorified banking service to the nation.
State Bank of Mysore, an associate of State Bank of India, popularly known as "Mysore Bank", was founded by Bharat Ratna Sir M Visvesvaraya under the Royal patronage of His Highness the Maharaja of Mysore, Shri Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar, on 2nd October 1913. As a premier commercial Bank in Karnataka, it enjoys excellent brand equity in the state and is well known for the quality of its customer service.

Russia Post released a set of 4 stamps on 28th July 2016 depicting Native Military Equipment as part of the Continuation of the Series History of the World War I.The postage stamps feature the Fedorov Avtomat, the Grigorovich M-5 flying boat, the Imperatritsa Ekaterina Velikaya dreadnought, the Mgebrov-Isotta-Fraschini armored vehicle.
The Fedorov Avtomat was the world's first assault rifle. It was commissioned into the Russian Army in 1916 and used in World War I, the Russian Civil War and in the Winter War.
Mgebrov-Isotta-Fraschini armored vehicle was developed at the Izhora Plant in 1916. Thanks to sloped armor it boasted increased bulletproof capacity. It was heavily used by both the Imperial Russian Army and the Red Army till 1919.
The Grigorovich M-5 flying boat was developed in 1914 and brought wide popularity to its designer. During World War I, it was in active service in the Black Sea Fleet Aviation based in Batumi, Odessa and Sevastopol.
The Imperatritsa Ekaterina Velikaya dreadnought was commissioned into the Russian Navy in 1915. She was in active service during World War I. She was renamed Svobodnaya Rossiya after the February Revolution.

Russia Post issued a stamp to celebrate the 850th Foundation Anniversary of Velikiye Luki City on 14th July 2016.
Velikiye Luki is a large multi-faceted trade, industrial, cultural and educational hub in Pskov Oblast. The postage stamp features the Cathedral of the Ascension of the Velikiye Luki Diocese and a view of Velikiye Luki during the annual balloon festival.

A special stamp was released by Russia Post on 5th July 2016 depicting GLONASS - Russian Space Navigation System.
GLONASS ("GLObal NAvigation Satellite System") is a Russian satellite navigation system providing real-time positioning services to unlimited number of users on land, at sea, in the air and in space. The stamp features the GLONASS-K satellite and graphic icons representing the main consumers of the satellite navigation system services.

On 25th November 2016 a set of 4 stamp was released by Kyrgyzstan Post to celebrate Navigation on Lake Issyk-Kul. 4 stamps were on the Three-masted schooner "Issyk-Kul", Motor ship "Progress of Kyrgyzstan", launched in 1926, Cruiser "Moscow" of the President of Kyrgyzstan and Torpedo boat.
The first large ships on Issyk-Kul were sailing longboats and schooners. In the twentieth century the relay was accepted by more powerful and efficient motor ships. In 1925 it was created the Issyk-Kul State Shipping Company, which played a major role in the transport shipping in the region. Cargo and passenger ships carried out transportation between the cities of Rybachye (now Balykchy) and Przhevalsk (nowadays Karakol), as well as other wharfs. It was the highest mountain fleet in the USSR.
Issyk-Kul has played and continues to play a significant role in military and naval matters. The testing facilities of the Russian Navy are located on the Lake, where torpedo weapons are tested.
